Salvation of the hopeless

Their sad eyes
fill my mind,
their desires,
their longings,
their hopelessness.

I intercept,
I pray,
for only You can save them.

You promise to pardon them,
and fill their lives with hope, again.

Their eyes are still sad,
yet hope has settled in as well.
One day, they will come to You,
love You and be saved.

I laugh and rejoice.
How sweet this is, my Lord.
